St Peter’s Nursing Home is looking to recruit experienced, skilled, and committed Healthcare Assistants to join our dedicated nursing team providing high-quality care for residents with complex nursing needs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal and nursing care with dignity and respect
- Provide one-to-one support for residents with complex care needs
- Support residents living with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, physical disabilities, and other complex conditions
- Complete accurate care documentation and observation records
- Promote infection prevention and health & safety procedures
- Work closely with nurses and senior staff to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and families
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ care experience within the UK
- Must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK
- We do not offer sponsorship
- Care Certificate is essential
- Experience working within nursing homes or complex care settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, professional, and reliable approach to care
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 3 is advantageous
- Experience in Dementia Care, Mental Health, Physical Disabilities, or End-of-Life Care
Shift Patterns
Day Shifts
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (full shift)
- 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM (half shift)
- 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM (half shift)
Night Shift
Flexible working patterns available, including weekdays, weekends, and bank shifts.
