Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced 3 Man Roads & Sewers Gang to operate on a secured upcoming project with immediate start, must have a strong focus on deep drainage and top works.
The role involves working as a complete gang to deliver high-quality deep drainage installations safely, efficiently, and to specification. Must have own transport to get to from site, valid CSCS and plant tickets, supervisor advantageous, project will carry through until the end of the year.
Gang must comprise of a pipe layer, 360, dumper/roller.

Duties
- Operate 13T–30T excavators for deep drainage and infrastructure works
- Excavate trenches to line and level using laser equipment and drawings
- Install drainage runs including bedding, pipe laying, and surround
- Work safely with trench boxes, shoring systems, and within confined excavations
- Support manhole construction, benching, and chamber installs
- Maintain production while ensuring compliance with health & safety standards
- Carry out daily plant checks and basic maintenance
Skills
- Valid CPCS/NPORS tickets
- Proven experience in roads & sewers / deep drainage / topworks
- Ability to read drawings and work to levels with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and trench support systems
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and production-driven
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of working safely and efficiently in demanding environments, contributing to the successful completion of projects while adhering to all safety standards.
