You’ll be joining a growing electrical contractor delivering commercial projects nationwide.
This is a varied role focused primarily on estimating projects, with opportunities to develop skills in project management and 2D CAD. You’ll play a key part in securing projects and supporting delivery from pre-construction through to handover.
The position is primarily office-based; site visits for surveys and meetings will be required at times and may include overnight stays.

About the role
· Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for new build and refurbishment projects nationwide.
· Review drawings, specifications, and employer requirements to identify risks and opportunities.
· Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries to ensure full scope coverage.
· Participate in tender review meetings with company directors.
· Provide structured handovers to delivery teams once projects are secured.
· Support QS and project teams with commercial reporting and cost analysis.
· Monitor material, labour, and subcontract market rates.
· Manage multiple tenders while working to strict deadlines.
What we are looking for
Essential:
· Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
· Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
· Proficient IT skills, including Excel.
· Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
· Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
· Experience using estimating software.
· Experience with 2D CAD software.
· Electrical background (hands-on and/or relevant qualifications).
