We grow premium lettuce crops for major UK supermarkets and are looking for motivated people who enjoy practical, physical work and working as part of a team.
Main Duties
- Cutting and harvesting lettuce
- Planting young crops
- Greenhouse work
- General physical farm duties
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to follow instructions carefully
- Comfortable with physical outdoor and greenhouse work
- Able to work at pace while maintaining quality standards
Basic English language skills are sufficient, as training can be provided through demonstration and practical instruction.
Pay & Hours
- Starting pay at National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage
- Pay increases with experience and performance
- Overtime frequently available, especially during summer months
- Overtime paid at 150% rate
About the Role
This is physically demanding work and can involve:
- Long periods standing
- Repetitive tasks
- Working in warm greenhouse conditions
- Early starts during busy periods
