We are seeking a friendly and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of catering services at various events and venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving guests, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages according to specified standards
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Set up catering areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations prior to events
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces throughout shifts
- Restock supplies as needed during service periods
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times
- Support team members with additional tasks as required to ensure seamless event operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering or hospitality is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or specialised event times as required
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous but not mandatory

Hours Monday to Friday 8.00am till 1.30pm Friday 7.30am till 11.am
Driving license required due to position.
