Experienced Vehicle Valeter / Detailer

At Cawdor Cars, we believe every vehicle should be presented to the highest possible standard. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Vehicle Valeter / Detailer who genuinely enjoys their profession and takes pride in producing exceptional results.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a passion for vehicle presentation, understands the finer details of paintwork enhancement, and enjoys seeing the transformation that professional valeting and detailing can achieve.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing our retail stock to a high main dealer standard, ensuring every vehicle is presented in immaculate condition before being displayed for sale.
Your duties will include:
- Interior and exterior vehicle valeting
- Paint decontamination and preparation
- Machine polishing and paint enhancement
- Applying protective coatings and finishing products
- Maintaining showroom presentation standards
- Identifying and rectifying cosmetic imperfections where possible
- Ensuring all vehicles are prepared to the highest standard before handover or display
What We're Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting, detailing, or automotive preparation
- Knowledge of machine polishing techniques and paint correction processes
- An understanding of detailing products, equipment, and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining exceptional standards
- Pride in their work and a genuine passion for vehicle presentation
