We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team across our restaurant and wedding venue at Hidden River Cabins. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service while driving the business forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the restaurant and support operations across multiple venues on site
- Supervise, motivate, and lead a team of front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding service
- Manage staff performance, and training to ensure high standards are maintained
- Handle tills, cashing up, and ensure accurate financial procedures are followed
- Actively participate in service, including waiting on tables and engaging with guests
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and proactively manage feedback and online reviews
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Support the development and execution of menus in collaboration with the kitchen
- Assist with marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant
- Identify opportunities to grow and elevate the restaurant business
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality is essential
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to think creatively and “outside the box”
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Must be reliable and flexible, with availability to work evenings and weekends
- Own transport is essential due to the rural location
