Area Manager – Mobile Cleaning Services
Location: Belfast / Carrickfergus / Larne / Antrim (Multi-Site Role)
Pay Rate: £14.95 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Gentech Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our Aldergrove-based client for an Area Manager – Mobile Cleaning Services. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional with supervisory experience to join a growing team, overseeing cleaning operations across multiple sites throughout the Belfast, Carrickfergus, Larne and Antrim areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train and support cleaning staff across multiple sites.
- Conduct employee inductions, training and performance appraisals.
- Ensure all sites are cleaned and maintained to company standards.
- Manage cleaning schedules and staff rotas.
- Monitor stock levels and carry out stock takes.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
- Handle client queries and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure health, safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
- Provide cleaning cover when required.
- Produce weekly operational reports.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory, team leader or management role.
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a cleaning environment.
- Flexible approach to working hours and travel between sites.
- Competent in completing reports and basic administration tasks.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience managing cleaning contracts across multiple sites.
- COSHH awareness or relevant cleaning qualifications.
