As a Kitchen Assistant & Front of House Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable guest experiences. Whether you're supporting the kitchen team behind the scenes or serving guests in our restaurant and bar areas, you'll help ensure every guest receives friendly, efficient service and enjoys a welcoming atmosphere.
Your Day-to-DayKitchen Duties
- Assist with food preparation as directed by the kitchen team.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are kept clean and hygienic.
- Support with washing up and maintaining cleanliness throughout service.
- Store deliveries correctly and rotate stock where required.
- Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Report any equipment faults, shortages or safety concerns to your supervisor.
Front of House Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
- Set up and clear tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Assist guests with queries and requests in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Support breakfast, restaurant, bar and event operations as required.
- Handle payments and operate the till system where required.
General Responsibilities
- Wear your uniform with pride and maintain a professional appearance.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all company policies, procedures and brand standards.
- Take on additional duties as required to support the hotel operation.
What We Need From You
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Good standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull items as required.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Previous hospitality experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
