Smart Solutions are currently working with a prestigious client in the Nottingham area, who, due to growth, are looking to expand their team and are recruiting for Machine Operatives who will operate Stoll machines according to production plans and specifications, immediate starts available.
Hours of Work - will require working a 3-week rotational shift pattern
Week 1: Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00
Week 3: Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:00
Pay Rate:
£14.59 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Produce products to agreed specification by following processes
- Quality checking to ensure high quality of product is knitted and delivered to the customer
- Maintain Stool machines in accordance with standard working practices, ensuring smooth running operation and efficiency of the machine
- Ensure a smooth shift handover by attending daily meetings
- Change over machines to ensure smooth running of the manufacturing process
Essential Requirements:
- Data input required
- Previous experience or understanding of continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience within a production and/or machine operator role would be beneficial
- Exceptional hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Must be a good team player with good communication skills
- Flexible approach and can-do attitude
- Ability to follow instructions
- Strong timekeeping and attendance record
