We’re looking for a talented Waiter/Waitress to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Waiter/Waitress to play a key role in a dynamic & growing restaurant group with big plans ahead. You will be joining a driven and passionate team. Awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand across three locations, Berenjak is an exciting group of Persian restaurants with four locations in the UK (Mayfair, Soho, Borough Market and Soho Farmhouse) and seven internationally across the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and New York.
The Restaurant
Berenjak Borough offers an expanded menu that includes several new homestyle Iranian dishes, alongside all the signature Berenjak classics. Just as the original Berenjak introduced diners to the flavours of Tehran’s hole-in-the-wall eateries, the new restaurant brings the classic charcoal-grilled kebabs, such as the minced lamb koodibeh and poussin jujeh tond, for which Berenjak is best known. Many of the signature mazeh small plates from our Soho restaurant also make the jump to Borough, including the black chickpea hummus, the Panir Sabzi (Persian feta with radish, fresh herbs, and nuts), and the taftoon clay-baked sourdough seeded flatbread.
The Position
We're looking for an experienced and energetic Waiter/Waitress, but most importantly, we're looking for committed self-starters who are eager to learn, develop and be part of this unique restaurant. Working in a small team you'll need to be able to communicate effectively, delivering exceptional guest experiences with personality and flair.
The Successful Waiter/Waitress will have:
Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress within a fast-paced restaurant;
Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
Passion for about food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group
