Job Summary
we are looking for someone to do part time hours (3 hours per week) at our site in dorking
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Previous janitorial experience and knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures are desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and soap dispensers as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and time management abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
