Essential Requirements
- Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or equivalent Early Years Teacher qualification.
- Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding Certificate.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience leading or supervising an Early Years team.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and education.
Job Description
- Lead and manage the Pre-School Room, ensuring high-quality care and education.
- Inspire, motivate, and support the room team to achieve the highest standards.
- Plan and deliver engaging, stimulating learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
- Monitor children's learning and development, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
- Complete observations, assessments, and learning journeys to a high standard.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback on children's progress.
- Ensure safeguarding and children's welfare remain at the heart of everything we do.
- Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support children's school readiness and promote independence.
- Ensure all nursery policies and procedures are followed.
- Monitor staff performance within the room and provide coaching and support where needed.
- Work closely with the Nursery Management Team to continuously improve practice.
- Promote positive behaviour and support children's emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure resources and the learning environment are well organised and inspiring.
- Be a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and a passion for early years education.
Pay: From £13.30 per hour
