Class 2 HGV Driver (18T) – Long Term Role
We are recruiting experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Drivers (18T) to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy multi-drop work and want long-term, stable employment.
Working Pattern
- Rota: 4 on / 2 off
- Start time: 06:00 AM
- Pay: £17.00 per hour
- Job type: Temp to perm
Main Duties
- Delivering and collecting roll cages of linen to hotels and hospitals
- Completing 8–12 drops per day
- Loading and unloading cages at sites and in vehicles
- Providing polite and professional customer service
- Completing all work safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
- Multi-drop experience preferred
- Roll cage/cage work experience is an advantage
- Good attitude and reliable work ethic
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- No drug or alcohol-related driving offences
Training & Induction
Successful candidates will complete a first-day induction including:
- Classroom briefing
- Licence and paperwork checks
- Accompanied route assessment with a trainer
