Trade Recruit is currently seeking experienced and dependable Solar Installers for ongoing renewable energy projects across Dover and surrounding areas.
We are looking for professionals who can confidently complete solar PV installations from start to finish while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems on residential and commercial properties
- Fit mounting systems, rails, brackets, and solar panels
- Carry out DC wiring and cable management
- Assist with inverter and battery storage installations
- Read and work from technical drawings and site plans
- Complete installations to industry and manufacturer standards
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
- Perform system checks and basic fault finding
- Work efficiently to complete projects on schedule
- Maintain professional standards on-site and with customers
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solar Installer / Solar PV Roofer
- Ability to complete installations from start to finish
- Valid CSCS Card
- Working at Heights certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own tools and PPE
- Strong understanding of roofing and solar mounting systems
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Roofing, Electrical, or Renewable Energy
- ECS Card
- PASMA or IPAF certification
- Experience with battery storage systems
- Commercial solar installation experience
- First Aid certification
