Key Responsibilities
- Ofsted Compliance: Oversee the day-to-day running of the home in line with Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards, aiming for 'Outstanding' results.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of Support Workers and Team Leaders, fostering a positive and resilient culture.
- Therapeutic Care: Implement tailored care plans that effectively manage challenging behaviours and support the emotional development of residents.
- Safeguarding: Act as the designated safeguarding lead, ensuring the safety, welfare, and voice of every child are prioritized.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and external healthcare professionals.
What We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent/working towards completion).
- Experience: A proven track record as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager within an EBD children’s residential setting.
Pay: Up to £65,000.00 per year
