We are looking for a talented friendly assistant cook to join our fabulous team! We are looking for a reliable and motivated Second Chef / Cook to support our Head Chef in daily kitchen operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a busy service environment and is passionate about food. Your responsibilities will include, cooking amazing food, including daily specials (menu planning), stock control and ordering, a detailed working knowledge of allergens and daily due diligence and being able to display leadership skills within the kitchen. If you have experience working in a fast paced kitchen and good food is at the centre of everything you do, then we want to meet you!
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook or chef in a café or similar environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- Passion for fresh food and attention to detail
Working pattern to include every other weekend and weekdays on a rota basis.
Salary dependent upon experience £28,000-£30,000
