We are recruiting a Qualified Residential Support Worker to join a brand-new 3-bed EBD children’s home in Solihull. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful, high-quality home supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
*Please note: Valid work authorisation for the UK is required for this position*
Qualified candidates will receive a competitive hourly rate of £13.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, nurturing, and structured care to children with EBD
- Support young people with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and education
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and observations
- Work closely with the team to implement care plans and promote positive outcomes
- Contribute to a positive and therapeutic environment for all children
Requirements:
- Relevant residential childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent)
- Experience working in a residential childcare setting
- Knowledge of safeguarding and Children’s Home regulations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to improving children’s lives

All successful candidates will be expected to work as part of a team that provides 24/7 on a rota basis. These shift patterns may vary across the service, but they will all include working weekdays, weekends, bank holidays and sleeping in duties (additional payment).
