Duties
- Greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their enquiries
- Organising and maintaining attractive product displays and merchandising areas
- Providing expert advice on gardening and horticultural products where applicable
- Handling transactions accurately at the checkout counter
- Restocking shelves and ensuring stock levels are maintained
- Assisting customers in selecting suitable plants, tools, or gardening supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the store environment
- Supporting promotional activities and seasonal displays
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Requirements
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or related fields is advantageous
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse customer base
- Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Enthusiasm for gardening and customer service excellence
