Maintenance Electrician – EV & Solar
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing electrical contractor based in the West Midlands, who are looking to add an experienced Maintenance Electrician to their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with experience in commercial and industrial maintenance, alongside knowledge of EV charging and solar PV systems.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, installations, and electrical testing across a range of commercial and industrial sites. The role will also involve work on EV charging installations and solar PV systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs
- Electrical testing and inspection
- Installation and maintenance of EV charging points
- Solar PV installation and maintenance support
- Completing job sheets and certification
- Ensuring all work is completed to current regulations and safety standards
- Working independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS/CSCS Card
- Testing & Inspection qualification desirable
- Experience in commercial/industrial environments
- EV charging experience preferred
- Solar PV experience advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
