Role Overview:
This unique lucrative role is for an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing orthopaedic conditions as a result of low level accidents and, producing the relevant expert medical reports.
Responsibilities:
- Take history, perform an examination and formulate an opinion.
- Assess and produce expert medical reports with clear explanation and prognosis.
- Ensure that all reports are objective, accurate, timely and in compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
- MSc and FRCS(Tr & Orth) equivalent approved by The Royal College of Surgeons.
- Full GMC registration, a license to practice and on the GMC Specialist Register.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- No previous medical report writing experience necessary as training will be provided.
