Role Summary
White Logistics is seeking a proactive and highly organised Health & Safety Officer to support our growing logistics and warehousing operation. This is a hands-on role covering training, compliance, site safety and day-to-day H&S management across multiple sites.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain training records and compliance systems (Trutac, Worknest, FORS).
- Deliver inductions and toolbox talks for staff, drivers and contractors.
- Manage First Aid and Fire Marshal provision.
- Support FORS Bronze, Silver and BRCGS compliance.
- Investigate incidents and complete reports (including RIDDOR).
- Carry out audits, checks and risk assessments.
- Assist with facilities tasks and contractor coordination.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Health & Safety within logistics, warehousing or similar.
- Knowledge of key H&S legislation (HASAWA, RIDDOR, PUWER, COSHH, LOLER).
- Strong admin and record-keeping skills.
- Confident delivering training and engaging with staff.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Desirable
- NEBOSH / IOSH
- Experience with FORS, BRCGS or Trutac
- First Aid or Fire Marshal trained
Package
- Salary: £32,000 – £34,000, depending on experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Holidays: 28 days including Bank Holidays
- Location: Pershore base with occasional travel across group sites
- Contract: Permanent
