Shifts Available: Mon-Fri 6-2 OR 2-10 OR Rotating
Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Machine Operator to join a busy production team. The successful candidate will operate production machinery to produce high-quality products and follow standard operating procedures to meet production targets.
Key responsibilities

Set up, operate and monitor production machinery according to work orders and SOPs

Carry out routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting to maintain product quality and uptime

Perform regular quality checks and record production data accurately

Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times

Assist with machine changeovers, cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks

Report faults and escalate technical issues to maintenance as required

Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and colleagues
Skills and experience required

Proven experience in the operation of production machinery in a manufacturing or production environment

Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn machine controls and processes quickly

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work

Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including safety procedures and work instructions

Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing manual handling tasks as required

Reliable, punctual and able to work shift patterns if needed

Previous experience with overhead cranes

Experience with production paperwork and basic quality inspection tools
