To maintain and enhance the appearance, safety, and overall presentation of Tencreek Holiday Park. The Groundskeeper / Estates Operative plays a key role in ensuring the park looks well-kept, welcoming, and in line with our VisitEngland 4-Star standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring pride in presentation, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
Grounds Maintenance
- Grass cutting, strimming, edging, and general turf care
- Hedge cutting and shrub maintenance
- Seasonal planting and flower bed upkeep
- Leaf clearance and litter picking
- Pathway, fencing, and boundary maintenance
- Maintaining drainage channels and outdoor infrastructure
Park Presentation
- Ensuring all public areas are clean, tidy, and safe
- Maintaining signage and outdoor furniture
- Assisting with pitch preparation for touring and seasonal guests
- Ensuring high visual standards across all areas of the park
Estates Support
- Assisting with general maintenance tasks where required
- Supporting setup and breakdown of events
- Carrying out minor repairs to fencing, decking, or outdoor structures
- Supporting winter maintenance and off-season works
Health & Safety
- Operating machinery safely and in line with training
- Conducting basic equipment checks
- Reporting hazards or defects promptly
- Complying with company Health & Safety policies
Working Pattern
- Hours may fluctuate seasonally.
- During peak season, additional hours may be required.
- Winter hours may reduce in line with operational needs.
- Weekend work may be required.
- Participation in duty rota may be required (if applicable).
