A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and student focused Curriculum Leader in Motor Vehicle to join our Construction & Motor Vehicle team, on a full-time, permanent basis.

The role will be primarily based at our Accrington & Rossendale College campus, however travel across sites may be required.
What You WIll Be Doing:

Lead and manage a team of Lecturers, delivering on the Motor Vehicle provision

Lead on the internal verification and quality processes
-
Support curriculum planning, development, and delivery to meet awarding body requirements and industry standards

Monitor teaching, learning and assessment to ensure high quality and consistency across the department

Track and report on student progress, retention, achievement and progression

Maintain effective links with employers, apprenticeships and external stakeholders

Ensure compliance with College procedures, including Safeguarding and Health and Safety

Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the Motor Vehicle curriculum
What We Are Looking For:
-
5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
-
Recognised teaching qualification
-
Relevant Motor Vehicle-related qualification at Level 3 or above
-
Degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification
-
Proven experience of teaching/ training in a Motor Vehicle environment within Further Education or Industry

Experience of managing or mentoring staff
