A Housekeeper is required for a family in York (YO10) with 2 children plus a dog
Start Date: Beginning August 2026
Salary: £18 - £20 gross per hour – will be employed
Hours: 25 hours per week – flexible to suit candidate
Duties:
· Housekeeping
· Cleaning & tidying
· Washing & ironing
· Making & changing beds
· Online shopping
· Running errands
· Standing in for the Nanny on occasion
· Occasional family cooking
You must:
- Have previous experience as a Housekeeper with checkable references to support your application
- Have an Enhanced DBS certificate or be happy to have one done
- Be a driver with own car
- Be happy to care for the children on occasion
- Like dogs
- Be able to cook & follow recipes
