We are looking for a Client Billing Administrator to support the finance team by maintaining the Sales Ledger, managing the monthly billing process, and assisting with collections from debtors across a number of our homes. The role will also involve supporting banking processes and working closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays an important part in ensuring billing accuracy, timely collections, and strong relationships with residents’ families, local authorities and care home teams.
This is a 37.5 hour fixed-term contract with an excellent salary of £32,000 per annum. The role will be based at our Support Office in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
Key Accountabilities
Setting up resident accounts and funding details within the billing system using information provided by the care homes
Raising sales invoices and monitoring the debtors ledger to ensure accurate billing and timely payments
Liaising with Local Authorities regarding invoice and resident queries
Communicating with residents’ families regarding invoice payments and queries
Arranging and managing Direct Debit collections
Allocating receipts within the accounting software (Access)
Posting bank transactions within the accounting system
Supporting month-end reporting, including bank reconciliations where required
Working collaboratively with the wider finance team on ad hoc tasks and projects
Completing mandatory e-learning and compliance training
Demonstrating company values in day-to-day work activities
