As a Secondary Learning Support Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students stay engaged with their learning, complete the work provided, and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. You will play a key role in supporting students' learning and promoting positive behaviour throughout the school day. No lesson planning or marking is required.
The Role
- Supervise secondary school classes using pre-set lesson materials.
- Support students to remain focused and engaged with their learning.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Encourage students to complete their work and achieve their potential.
- Provide clear feedback to teaching staff after each lesson.
- Work flexibly across a variety of secondary schools in Rhyl and the surrounding areas.

- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- The right to work in the UK.
