Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all food safety regulations are adhered to.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
