Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Door Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality doors through various fabrication techniques, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and tools to cut, shape, and assemble components
- Fabricate parts from Upvc/composite and other materials with precision and attention to detail
- Perform basic measurements and calculations using fundamental maths to ensure correct dimensions
- Conduct quality checks on fabricated components to meet quality standards
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or subassemblies
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience bench fitting/door manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and basic maths relevant to fabrication tasks
- Experience working in assembly, or related fields is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.45 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
