Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians in repairing vehicle body panels using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair techniques
- Learn to assess vehicle damage accurately and prepare surfaces for repairs or refinishing
- Support the removal and reinstallation of damaged panels, bumpers, doors, and other components with proper heavy lifting techniques
- Participate in vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance during repairs
- Apply automotive service standards by following safety protocols and quality guidelines throughout the repair process
- Gain exposure to auto restoration processes, including sanding, filling, priming, painting, and finishing vehicles to restore their original appearance
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored and equipment is functioning correctly
- Document repair procedures and progress accurately for quality control and reporting purposes
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge or interest in automotive repair and maintenance
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, or basic auto body work is advantageous but not required—training will be provided
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards in all work activities
- Good communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals
- Prior mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive service processes is a plus but not mandatory
