At Ideal Car Centre we have a position available for a Valeter / Vehicle Preparation Specialist. We are a small independent used car retailer looking for a hard working individual who thrives in a fast pace high pressure environment.
The main duties for the role are valeting all cars to a high standard, and ensuring cars are clean, ready and available for customers to view at all times, and the cars and site are clean, presentable and displayed correctly and to ensure sold cars are clean in advance ready for collection. Additional duties will include driving and assisting the Sales Manager to ensure all cars are fully prepared and ready for sale in a timely and cost effective manner, including liaising with contractors and suppliers for repairs. As well as the cars you will be responsible for ensuring the site is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times including displaying cars correctly. This role will also include driving duties.
The successful candidate will be self motivated, enthusiastic and hard working, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work under their own initiative. Experience is preferable but not essential for the right candidate, although a full driving licence is required. In turn the successful candidate will be rewarded with an OTE of up to £36,000 including bonus.
This is a full time role which will encompass working six days per week including weekends. Candidates will be entitled to one day off during the week plus one weekend off in every four in addition to their day off during the week.
