We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Early Years Room Lead to join our friendly and supportive team.
About the Role
As a Room Lead, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team within your room, creating an inspiring environment where children can learn, develop, and flourish. You will be a positive role model for colleagues, helping to maintain high standards of care and education while ensuring every child receives the very best start in life.
This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating a team of Early Years Practitioners.
- Planning and delivering engaging, child-led learning experiences.
- Supporting children's individual development and learning journeys.
- Building strong partnerships with parents and carers.
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care, and education.
- Supporting colleagues through coaching, guidance, and teamwork.
- Working closely with nursery leadership to continuously improve practice and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential).
- Experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting children, families, and colleagues.
