At Deuren we focus on bespoke luxury internal and external doors and are looking for a detail orientated sprayer/prepper to join our team.

Your role would include the following activities -
- Surface Preparation: Sanding, cleaning, and priming high-end doors (e.g., hardwood, rosewood, walnut) to ensure a flawless surface for painting, using fine sandpaper both by hand and power sanders.
- Spray Painting: Applying premium coatings (e.g., Farrow & Ball paints, custom-mixed colors, or speciality lacquers) using airless sprayers to achieve a smooth, brush-mark-free finish.
- Finishing: Ensuring consistent, high-quality finishes (gloss, matt, satin, or bespoke effects) that align with Deuren’s luxury standards, often customizing each side of the door to match specific room aesthetics.
- Quality Control: Inspecting doors for defects, ensuring coatings are even, durable, and resistant to warping or environmental changes, meeting Deuren’s high-end specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and cleaning spray guns and other equipment to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Working closely with design and manufacturing teams to realize clients’ bespoke visions, including color matching and finish selection.
- Health and Safety: Adhering to strict safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and handling of paints and solvents.
Requirements:
- Experience in spray painting, ideally with high-end furniture, doors, or automotive finishes (2-5 years preferred).
- Knowledge of a wide range of paint systems and colour matching.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver flawless, durable finishes.
- Familiarity with airless sprayer techniques and surface preparation.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, ATA, or apprenticeship in paint spraying) are advantageous.

- Basedin Mirfield, West Yorkshire, at Deuren’s manufacturing facility.
