or 01268 750711As a Motor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. You will carry out routine servicing such as oil changes, brake replacements, and vehicle inspections, as well as diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults.
You will use diagnostic tools alongside practical mechanical skills to identify problems and complete repairs efficiently. Your work will involve key vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, and modern electronic components. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will be essential, as you will be expected to complete all work to a high standard and within set timeframes.
You will be working in a hands-on, fast-paced workshop environment, either independently or as part of a team, depending on the task.
This role also offers the prospect of progressing to become an MOT Tester, along with access to a company pension scheme and paid holiday entitlement.
In terms of pay, you can expect to earn £36000 gross pay ,Additional income may be available through specialist qualifications such as MOT testing or working on hybrid and electric vehicles.
