Halmer Recruit is currently recruiting for a busy manufacturing client in Aldershot. We are looking for a Machine Operator to join their production team. Full training will be provided, so previous experience is a bonus but not essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating production machines to produce company products to specification.
- Ensuring machines run efficiently and products meet quality standards.
- Cutting materials to size and replenishing rolls of product.
- Performing general machine operative duties.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe production area/warehouse.
- Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues or defects to the supervisor.
- Following all health & safety regulations at all times.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous machine operative experience preferred but not essential.
- Must live in or within a commutable distance of Aldershot.
- Ability to work on your feet all day.
- Good understanding of written and spoken English.
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude.
- Must be available immediately
