WE ARE RECRUITING
Due to an expansion we are now looking for a vehicle motor mechanic to join our team!
You will be required to hold NVQ level 2, ideally NVQ level 3 certificates, as-well as a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
If you have experience in the motor trade sector as a fully qualified mechanic, we want to hear from you!
As a skilled Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and servicing motor vehicles of all types in accordance with Company Standards in a safe and efficient manner. You will carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standard and appropriate specification. Ideally be able to repair instead of replace mindset.
Correct applicant must be able to carry out, servicing and general motor vehicle work.
What will you be doing? -
- Servicing sold vehicles
- Preparing stock to be 'Retail ready' to a high standard
- Carry out diagnosis to faults
- Use vehicle code reading equipment to diagnose & repair a fault
- Using power tools / equipment to a safe standard
- Working in a team, we are a family run company with a small team that you will need to fit into
- Writing up reports for faults
- Maintaining a compliant & safe working environment
- Adhering to company policies at all times

What you will have -
- English & Math GCSE D or above
- At least 2 years of mechanical experience in a repair centre / fast-paced motor trade environment
- A full UK driving licence
- A proven interest in the motor trade
- Knowledge of your way round an engine
- Great vehicle knowledge in general, i.e. what cars are what
Hours -
Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Saturday - 9am-5pm (Overtime Where Required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
