Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team in GB. Based in <LOCATION>, this role is vital in ensuring the efficient handling and management of fire safety equipment and supplies, supporting our mission to deliver top-tier service and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials efficiently using appropriate handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular stocking, picking, and packing activities.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory.
- Assist with quality control checks to uphold safety standards.
- Load and unload goods safely, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support mechanical tasks related to warehouse operations as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Valid forklift license is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
