Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Porter to join our clients team at their site in Norwich. Our client is an International facilities Business. The role will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within their premises.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across various areas, including floors, corridors, and communal spaces, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked with supplies
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with company policies
- Support with organising storage areas and ensuring supplies are stocked and accessible
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Uphold health and safety standards during all cleaning activities, adhering to relevant regulations and protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals is advantageous
- Attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- A proactive attitude towards safety and hygiene practices
