Job Description
Seasonal opportunity from 1st July to 30th August to cover staff shortage during summer holiday period.
Training will be provided for all aspects of the job. Previous retail experience preferred. Must have fluent English and good numeracy/literacy skills for the requirements of the role. Must be able to lift and move heavy items of furniture on stairs
35hrs per week, 9am to 4.30pm, 5 days per week over Monday-Saturday as rota requires
Job Summary
- Sort through donated deliveries for shop stock or recycling; price stock according to pricing guidelines; welcome and serve customers, attending to their requests; operate an EPOS system and fulfil rota duties in end-of-day transactions
- Ensure all H&S and quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the warehouses
- Assist staff and customers moving heavy items including furniture, donation bags and assist in the loading/unloading of lorries as requested
