Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic, driven, and people-focused Membership Sales Manager to lead membership growth and deliver an exceptional member experience at UFC Gym London City Road. This role is ideal for a passionate sales professional with a strong background in fitness, hospitality, or membership sales who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
As Membership Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new membership sales, leading front-of-house sales activity, building strong relationships within the local community, and motivating a high-performing team. You will play a key role in representing the UFC Gym brand while creating a welcoming, results-driven atmosphere for both prospective and existing members.
This position offers a competitive base salary, uncapped commission structure, and performance-based bonuses, rewarding high achievement and consistent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive membership sales through proactive lead generation, outreach, tours, and consultations
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed targets
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a premium member experience from first contact through retention
- Build relationships with local businesses, community groups, and corporate partners to increase brand awareness and membership growth
- Manage daily sales operations, including enquiries, appointments, follow-ups, and membership administration
- Monitor KPIs, sales performance, and conversion metrics, providing regular reports to senior management
- Support marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, events, and member engagement activities
- Maintain exceptional standards across the gym floor, reception, and sales areas in line with UFC Gym brand standards
- Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about memberships, classes, personal training services, and gym facilities
- Handle member concerns professionally and efficiently to maintain high retention and satisfaction levels
- Assist with scheduling, operational procedures, and front-of-house management when required
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the fitness, health club, hospitality, or retail sectors
- Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and professional approach
- Passion for fitness, health, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
