HYSTRIDE — ECOMMERCE OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE
£30,000 – £35,000 Per Annum DOE
Hystride is a rapidly growing UK sports eyewear brand. Before we started, the market was split between overpriced premium brands and cheap, boring alternatives. We built something right in the middle: high-performance eyewear that looks great, at a price that makes sense.
We are currently growing 200% year-to-date and are EBITDA positive, selling through our own Shopify website, marketplaces such as Decathlon, and a growing network of independent retailers. Our goal is to become the number one sports eyewear brand in the affordable performance market.
Our next phase is focused on pushing hard into UK and EU retail distribution and opening new wholesale accounts. We are looking for an Ecommerce Operations Executive to be the operational backbone making this growth possible. If you're the right person, you'll grow right along with the brand.
THE ROLE
As our Ecommerce Operations Executive, you will own the operational core of Hystride, managing our DTC and marketplace hubs across multiple markets. Reporting directly to the founder, you will have a front-row seat to every channel of the business, acting as a key partner in our daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who loves true ownership and wants to see the direct impact of their work every day. .
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shopify Storefront: Keep our Shopify website clean, accurate, and trading at its best. You will update stock levels, manage product listings and detail pages, set up upsells, and process returns.
- Marketplace Operations: Manage our presence on Decathlon UK and EU, alongside our other active marketplace channels such as TikTok Shop. This includes updating listings, tracking performance, fixing tech issues, and helping onboard new platforms as we expand.
- Logistics & Stock: Keep the supply chain running smoothly. You will track stock levels across our UK and Netherlands warehouses, coordinate reorders with our suppliers, and ensure customer orders go out without any issues.
- Finance & Admin: Handle the core admin tasks that keep the business ticking. This means managing supplier payments, wholesale invoicing, and keeping track of platform subscriptions,
- Customer Service Support: Act as the main escalation point for our customer service team. You will make sure support standards stay high, resolve tricky issues independently, and fix repeat problems at the root.
YOU'LL THRIVE HERE IF…
- You genuinely enjoy taking responsibility and aren't intimidated by running your own projects.
- You want to help build something from the ground up, rather than just maintaining an established system.
- You are the kind of person who spots a problem and fixes it before anyone else notices.
- The idea of helping a brand scale from £2m to £10m genuinely excites you.
- You have a strong work ethic and thrive in an environment where you are trusted to get on with the job.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of experience working in e-commerce.
- Shopify experience is a must.
- Knowledge of AI tools that can enhance your efficiency.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks.
- Experience with marketplaces like Mirakl or Amazon is an advantage.
- Commercially minded and understand how operations protect and drive revenue.
WHY JOIN US?
- Competitive salary of £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
- FULLY REMOTE working model
- Flexible 40-hour work week (Core hours 10:00–16:00), otherwise work when you're at your best
- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
- Generous employee discount on all Hystride products
This is a rare opportunity to step into a Number 2 position at a thriving brand with global horizons. We believe in empowering our team with genuine flexibility, which is why this role is fully remote with customizable hours outside of our core team syncs. As Hystride grows, your career path and trajectory will grow right along with it.
