We are working with a secondary schools in Romford who are looking to appoint a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS3 and KS4.
This role is ideal for aspiring teachers considering PGCE Schools Direct or Teach First.
The role
- Supporting pupils within Maths lessons
- Delivering one to one and small group numeracy interventions
- Supporting problem solving reasoning and exam preparation
- Working closely with class teachers SENCOs and pastoral teams
- Helping pupils build confidence engagement and progress in Maths
The ideal candidate
- Degree in Maths Mathematics Engineering Economics or a related subject
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- A genuine interest in education and pupil progress
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
- Considering a future career in teaching education or SEND
