Your Role
As Sales Manager for Transport for Greater Manchester you will be a key part of the Commercial Relationships team responsible for identifying, developing and managing the delivery of commercial opportunities with the prime purpose of increasing income streams and growing patronage across the public transport network in GM.
You will work with the business community to identify a regular pool of potential new customers and assist in the creation and management of a robust sales pipeline. You will identify partnership opportunities with brands, special events, venues, visitor destinations, large businesses etc. to deliver a range of commercial value to the organisation.

What you’ll bring

You should be an excellent relationship manager with extensive sales experience and very passionate about developing new commercial opportunities. You will be able to easily create rapport with colleagues and external clients and have a good knowledge of the media landscape in Greater Manchester, especially Out of Home.
You should be tenacious with a proactive approach to taking on projects from start to finish and possess a ‘can do’ attitude with an excellent attention to detail. We would also love you to have a creative flair and a passion for innovation and new ideas with excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage your own workload.
It’s an exciting time to join the team with the opportunity to develop and grow the strategy for sales across our partnerships, commercial initiatives and the new advertising opportunities presented by the roll out of the Bee Network. This is the ideal role for someone who has a proven record of achieving commercial targets but would also relish the opportunity to work in the public sector, develop their partnership skills and drive value across a range of projects within an organisation that delivers vital services to the population of GM.

A permanent role with a salary of £50,532 - £56,195 per annum depending on skills and experience.
