Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. This role requires excellent organisational abilities, effective communication skills, and the capability to manage a diverse team.
This is a new brand and the store has just recently opened in Bangor so we are looking for someone who will be motivated to help drive sales and performance of the store. This position is very much 'hands on' and will involve working in the store alongside other staff, making pizzas, frying, prepping etc.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and staff scheduling.
- Implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Train, develop, and evaluate team members to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment for customers.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company standards.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong sales management skills with a track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Proficient in time management to ensure efficient store operations.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette when dealing with customer inquiries or concerns.
