Production Operatives

Central Employment are recruiting a large number of Production Operatives for a rapidly expanding automotive engineering and injection‑moulding manufacturer in Sulgrave, Washington. This recruitment supports the launch of an exciting new production line, offering long‑term opportunities as the site continues to grow. Pay rises within the company are currently under negotiation.
Our client supplies high‑quality components to major automotive brands including Nissan, Jaguar and Land Rover, with additional facilities across Sunderland, Washington and Newcastle upon Tyne.
We welcome applications from all backgrounds, including those with no previous factory or automotive experience. Reliability, a positive attitude and willingness to learn are the key requirements. Full training is provided from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing

Production line work in a fast‑paced automotive environment

Operating injection moulding machines after full training

Meeting daily production targets

Visual quality checks on finished components

General housekeeping to maintain a safe working area

Previous injection‑moulding experience is helpful but not essential
Shifts and Hours
2‑Shift Rotation Days: Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:10pm Lates: Mon–Thurs, 4:35pm–12:45am | Fri, 3:10pm–11:00pm
3‑Shift Rotation Nights: Sun–Thurs, 11:20pm–7:30am Days: Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:10pm Lates: Mon–Fri, 4:00pm–11:50pm
Minimum: 39 hours per week Overtime: Time and a half plus double time available
Pay Rates 2‑Shift: £14.30 per hour 3‑Shift: £15.03 per hour Annual pay reviews based on performance and attendance
