Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our planning team in North Killingholme.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop existing logistical skills and knowledge within a dynamic environment.
Applicants should possess a minimum of 1 years experience in a transport office along with strong IT skills and most importantly a desire to help drive the business forward.
Duties
- Effectively plan both deliveries and collections in the UK ensuring best vehicle/driver utilization
- Coordinate with drivers, colleagues, and clients to schedule pickups and deliveries effectively
- Monitor and log transport operations using specialized telematic systems
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance
- Monitor drivers hours and tachograph regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client queries promptly and professionally
- Assist operations manager with daily/weekly reports when required

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, ensuring trucks/trailers are planned efficiently and cost effectively whilst maintaining excellent communication with clients and internal departments.
The role is fast paced and the successful candidate will be expected to be on call circa 1 in 6 weeks along with working a split shift between the office hours of 0700-1800.
The package offered is negotiable which will reflect the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
