We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Inglewood Care Home in Carlisle. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility and transferring
- Monitoring and administering medication
- Engaging in activities with residents to promote socialization and mental stimulation
- Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work shift patterns
