Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar/Waiting Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Prepare and serve drinks at the bar, maintaining cleanliness and organisation
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
- Clear tables promptly and ensure the dining area remains tidy throughout service
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the venue
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not essential
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
