Overview:
We are looking for a qualified swimming teachers to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Conduct swim lessons following provided curriculum and guidelines.
- Instruct students on swimming techniques and water safety.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Create a fun and engaging learning environment.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area. (available to set up and tidy up 15 minutes before and after teaching - this time is paid)
Requirements:
- MUST ALREADY BE QUALIFIED WITH EITHER; STA AWARD COURSE OR SWIM ENGLAND LEVEL 2.
- Previous experience as a fully qualified teacher is preferred.
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with students of various ages and skill levels.
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of different strokes.
- Must be reliable, patient, and able to work well with children
- Must have or be willing to obtain STA water safety award or equivalent.

We are a small, private pool providing group lessons to the local community and beyond. We run lessons 7 days per week;
The shift(s) currently available are:
Sunday 9:15-13:45
Monday 15:45 - 19:45
Tuesday 15:45 - 19:45
Wednesday 15:45-19:45
Thursday 15:45-19:45
Full and part-time hours opportunities available.
Cover shifts for sickness and annual leave are also available.
Weekly lessons run year round, with a break over Christmas and Easter. There is also the option of the weekend shifts being extended should the demand be there.
All teaching is done from in the water, the pool is heated and maintained at 31/32 degrees. Group lessons fro children aged from 3 years old are small with only a maximum of 4 children per class. We are also popular with 121 and 221 lessons.
Pay: £14.00-£19.00 per year
